HOW MARBLE POLISHING WITH MACHINE WORKS

CLEANING THE SURFACE FIRST

Before starting marble polishing procedure with a machine, the first step is to clean the dirty surface. The marble floor does not look shiny anymore because marble naturally absorbs all the acidic and alkaline substances which forms a dull looking surface. So we conduct comprehensive cleaning using a pH Neutral Cleaner. This first step is crucial as it causes all the pores of the marble to be cleared, allowing for deeper cleaning to be done.

REMOVE THE NEUTRAL CLEANER TO PREVENT DRYING

Using a mop and a vacuum cleaner, remove the neutral cleaner on the floor to prevent it from drying.

PRECISE POLISHING WITH DIAMOND POLISHING PADS

After the thorough washing, the marble surface is given a precision polish using diamond abrasives in the places where stains and scratches are still visible. It is necessary to pay additional attention to some scrapes and stains because they are difficult to remove all at once. By the end of this stage, our trained staff will ensure that your marble surface is pristine and has acquired its natural shine. To eliminate the acids from the polishing material, the surface is once more cleansed with the pH-neutral detergent.

USING LESSER COARSE POLISHING PADS

Once the staff is done using the current pad and covered the whole area, he/she will then switch to a lesser coarse polishing pad to make the marble floor shine even more.

MICROFIBRE FINISH

The last step of the polishing involves using a microfibre pad or anything similar to buff the marble floor and give it the best shine.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR MARBLE FLOOR'S SHINE

FREQUENTLY DRY CLEAN YOUR MARBLE FLOOR

To maintain the shine of your marble floor for an extended amount of time, give it a dry clean with a dust mop or soft cloth. If you’re only living in the house alone, once every week should be sufficient. You’ll likely need to dust the floor practically every day if you live in a home with 4 or more people. This is done to avoid dust accumulation, which, if ignored, could result in tiny scratches.

ELIMINATE SPILLS RIGHT AWAY

If an accident occurs, make sure to clean it up as quickly as you can to stop it from seeping into the marble’s cracks and leaving a tough stain. Because marble is a porous rock, it readily absorbs liquid.

ALWAYS DAB, NEVER SCRUB

When removing stains, keep in mind to always dab, never scrub. To neutralize pH levels and lower the likelihood of stains or etches, thoroughly rinse spills. This is crucial when dealing with stains brought on by acids like those found in citrus fruits.

WHY NOT USE CARPETS?

If your floor is frequented by people, think about having carpets or rugs. They not only add style to your home, but also shield your floor from harsh debris like sand.

CAN I POLISH MARBLE FLOOR MYSELF?

CLEANING NATURAL MARBLE YOURSELF

Remove any stains by using a wet cloth and any soap. Gently rub the stains away and then wash away the stains. To polish natural marble, apply baking soda and water, using a clean rug. Then wait for 4-5 hours to let it dry up. After it is dried, it is required to buff it with another clean rug.

CLEANING CULTURED MARBLE YOURSELF

For cultured marble, remove stains using a soft sponge to scrub with a cleaner which is not abrasive. To polish it, use wax made for polishing cars together with a clean rug.
